Today I'm shining the spotlight on JESSICA KIRKPATRICK. By the way, I supersuck. I had planned on having this up last freaking month, but blew it! Many apologies, Jessica!

Jessica is the author of Duskhouse Player and Doll Maker, and also has a story in DISMEMBERED, an anthology of murder stories!

Jessica Kirkpatrick (blackwinterrose) has completed three years of college towards a degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Sociology. She has led a January term class called "A Novel Idea" and has completed two novels, and published a short story entitled "Four Ghosts (After One Girl)" in Blood Moon Rising Magazine, Issue #52. Her books of poetry "Doll Maker" and "Duskhouse Player" are on Amazon as ebooks and paperbacks. Mrs. Kirkpatrick is an article writer for the website How to Witchcraft.

DISMEMBERED

When an online writing group full of sick and twisted people decide to take on the subject of murder ... this is what happens.

'The Unblocked Writers Group' was started on facebook in 2010. On most days, they are content with sharing writing tips, posting excerpts of their current projects, hi-jacking posts with what they believe to be witty commentary and generally finding newer and more creative ways to drive each other nuts.

However, once they were challenged to create their best fictional murder story in flash-fiction format, all hell broke loose.

'Dismembered' is a collection of short narratives from 12 writers with one mission: crafting the untimely and gruesome demise of whoever they felt had it coming.
